  • 1 cup low sodium beef broth.
  • 2 tablespoons normal flour (optional – for thickening).

Step 1:

Heat oil in a large pan or skillet on high heat. Season to roast well with salt and pepper. Brown each side until golden brown (about 5-5-6 minutes on each side). Transfer the roast to a 6-quart slow cooker bowl.
