Ingredients

Crust
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 graham cracker sheets, crushed into crumbs
Topping
  • 8-10 Hershey chocolate squares, or 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • heaping 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Combine melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla until incorporated, then add baking powder, flour, salt, and graham cracker crumbs to form the dough.
Assembly
  1. Divide the dough between ramekins to create the crust layer. Use 2 ramekins for larger portions or divide between 3-4 ramekins depending on their size.
  2. Add a layer of chocolate over the dough and cover with a heaping layer of mini marshmallows.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15 minutes, until the marshmallows are lightly browned and crisp on top.
  2. Allow the baked s'mores bowls to cool slightly before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve the warm dessert with large spoons.

Notes

For the best texture, allow the baked s'mores bowls to cool slightly so the chocolate settles while the marshmallow topping remains soft.
